Verdrag inzake clustermunitie: 30ste ratificatie en inwerkingtreding

Op 16 februari 2010 heeft Burkina Faso als dertigste staat bij het Verdrag inzake clustermunitie zijn ratificatie-instrument betreffende het verdrag neergelegd bij de Verenigde Naties in New York. Deze historische gebeurtenis betekent dat het noodzakelijke aantal staten om het verdrag in werking te laten treden, bereikt is. Het verdrag zal formeel in werking treden op 1 augustus 2010.
